Grammy’s

The Grammy’s were last night and as expected Adele was the big winner of the night. Love her, she is such a class act!!! Overall the Grammy’s were fairly tame, but full of performances.

Of course the Red Carpet never lets us down, some beautiful dresses from Rhianna and Carri Underwood!

Who do you think was best and worst dressed?

The show also had wonderful tributes to Whitney Houston. RIP Whitney, you will be missed!!!

Madonna put an awesome show together for the Super Bowl halftime. Best halftime show in years! It is amazing that at 50+ years she is still hip and changes her music with what is hot and fresh at the time. So what MIA flipped off the crowd, like our children don’t see that every day at school. Get over it people! She is most likely doing it for publicity any way. You know what they say, any publicity is good publicity!

Who says January and February are boring? I know we don’t have the fun holidays to look forward to and sometimes it is just plain cold and snowy but think of all of the fun things that happen in these two months. The SAG awards were exciting this year, some big disappointments but always entertaining. The Winter X Games are always exciting, love to see Shawn White float through the air. The Super Bowl is always good, even if the game isn’t that great the commercials and the half time entertainment are always fun!!! Of course Valentines Day is coming up soon for all of you lovers!!! The Grammys are just around the corner…will wonderful Adel take home record of the year? Of course we can’t forget the Oscars, Hollywood’s BIG night! Most importantly, for all of you who do have those winter blues, SPRING is just around the corner. But for now Happy Winter from Sport Couture!

Superbowl – same ole teams, same ole game!

So as it turns out, we are going to have the same boring ole match-up at the Superbowl this year as we did four years ago – Pats and Giants. Would be nice to see some new teams in the mix that haven’t been to the big game in the while! Just makes things a little less exciting for the Super Bowl this year. Wish the Broncos would have made it to the big game, oh well, maybe next year!

Golden Globes

It is the ‘unofficial’ start of the awards season and The Golden Globes kicked it off in a big way! A big feud between Madonna and Elton John continues, Leo, Brad and George looking dapper and the red carpet best and worst dressed. Who was best dressed? Reese Witherspoon, Charlize Theron or Angelina Jolie? Who didn’t win an award and should have? Would love to hear what you think.

Tebow- What an inspiration!

Did you watch the Broncos vs. Pittsburg game yesterday? What an amazing, inspiring game! The entire Denver Broncos team played a great game, but their leader Tim Tebow was the true winner and leader yesterday. His team rallied behind him since both Tebow and the team were pinned as the underdogs for the game yesterday. They showed that with hard work and a team effort, you really can be a winner!
